Allied International, a leading company also committed to cancer research
In recent days, Allied International — already the recipient of numerous awards recognizing its entrepreneurial and manufacturing excellence — has received a distinction of particular significance and value, albeit in a very different context.
The AIRC Foundation has awarded the company the certificate of "Corporate Champion of Cancer Research" in recognition of the long-standing support that Allied has provided to oncological research initiatives.
"Over the years, your support—and that of companies like yours," reads the letter addressed to President Valter Alberici by AIRC's Scientific Director, Anna Mondino, "has enabled us to build a true nationwide ecosystem capable of tackling questions that still await answers."
AIRC is considered the leading Italian non-profit organization dedicated to funding cancer research. For 2026, it has already allocated 142 million euros to support 779 long-term projects while simultaneously fostering the growth of a new generation of scientists engaged in research.
For this reason, Allied International has chosen to be an active part of it, with the goal of making cancer increasingly treatable.
